Who we are

Parchment is a free app made by Tatjana, an independent developer in the Netherlands. Contact: parchment.coffee.contact@gmail.com.

Your account

• You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Price

Parchment is free to use. If paid features are ever added, you will see the price clearly before you buy, and these terms will be updated first.

Your content

Your brews, notes and reviews stay yours. Reviews and ratings you post are shown to other users. You give us permission to show them in the app for as long as your account exists. Coffees you add may be added to the shared coffee database.

Fair use

Don’t post reviews that are false, offensive or about someone else’s personal life, and don’t try to misuse or break the app. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why.

Coffee information and advice

Lessons, brew tips and coffee details are for general information. Brew equipment can be hot and under pressure: always follow your machine’s instructions. Coffee details from roasters, farms and Open Food Facts may contain mistakes; let us know and we’ll correct them.

Availability

We work to keep Parchment running, but we can’t promise it is always available or free of errors. We may change or stop features, and will give notice for important changes.

Liability

Parchment is a free app made by a private developer. We are not liable for damage from using the app, as far as Dutch law allows.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If you have a complaint, email us and we’ll try to solve it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
